What does a pilot do?

Explanation

A pilot controls a plane, helicopter or other aircraft. The pilot sits in a cockpit in the front part of the plane. To fly you need to have a certificate - a kind of driver's licence for a plane. You can be a pilot by profession - i.e. fly as a job - but it can also just be a hobby.
