When Justin Bieber was twelve he entered the singing contest "Stratford Star". How did he place?

Explanation

Until Justin was around 12 years old, he kept his musical interest to himself. Of course his family was aware of his talent, but he did not show it off at school or to people he did not know. But then in January 2007 he entered "Stratford Star", a local talent show. There were several heats and Justin sang songs such as "Fallin´" (Alicia Keys), "Respect" (Aretha Franklin), "3AM" (Matchbox 20) and "So Sick" (Ne-Yo). For a while, he did not know if he came second or third.
