What is the hormone 'oxyticin' also known as?

Oxytocin is a hormone that is produced in the hypothalamus part of the brain. Whilst it exists in both men and women, women have much more of it. It is excreted e.g. after a long hug and is also known as the 'love hormone'. It creates uterine contractions during labour. Research has shown that the hormone affects our ability to trust, as well as our generousness.
