Explanation

Gyanendra Shah was the last King of Nepal. During his life, he held the title of King twice: first between 1950 and 1951 as a child, and then again between 2001 to 2008, following the Nepalese royal massacre. The monarchy was abolished on 28 May 2008, and replaced with a secular federal republic.
