Which year was the Disney film Pinocchio released?

Explanation

Pinocchio premiered in 1940 and is the second in a long row of animated feature films from Walt Disney. Originally, Pinocchio is an Italian children's story, written in 1880 by Carlo Collodi. Pinoccio tells the story of the puppeteer Gepetto who makes the wooden doll Pinocchio. A fairy breathes life into the puppet, but says that he will only be a real boy when he learns how to tell the truth. Jiminy Cricket helps, but Pinnochio lies a lot, and every time he does, his nose grows.
